Make a Difference for Our Community
Project Leadership of Huron County was founded in 1996 as a leadership development program whose mission is "to ensure the continuing vitality of our community by providing for a planned and ongoing source of motivated leaders who are educated on the community and its issues, and trained to accept future key leadership roles in all walks of life."
Anyone who lives and/or works in Huron County can apply for the program. Our class members represent many different professions and occupations; they come from a variety of backgrounds and educational levels; they represent a broad spectrum of ages, interests and talents, but they all share one common goal. They are motivated to lead.
The program is a one-year commitment. Our first class meets in August and ends with a graduation ceremony in late May or early June. We meet once a month in different locations around Huron County and we pursue a different theme each month.
